In my time at Statwax I wore many hats, from graphic designer, to photographer, to UX prototyper, to ebook editor.
One of my favorite projects was the opportunity to lead the company through a brand refresh. Their identity at the time was not unified and they were struggling to position themselves as a leader in the Education and Technology sectors.
The original logo Statwax had when founded. Originally their messaging was related to statistics that stick, thus the wax stamp. They had moved away from this messaging when they decided to focus in on education clients.
The logo that was in use before the refresh. They had wanted to pivot more towards an education or diploma look. This became cumbersome and was not ideal for mobile applications or responsive sizing.
The logo after the refresh. Simple and gets the point across that they are about results, with the graph trending upwards. Firmly in the Education and Technology space.
